Opening of a Virtual and Live-Fire Shooting Range in Zapopan, Built by RGM Advanced

January 12, 2026

At RGM Advanced we are pleased to announce the successful completion and delivery of a key end-to-end project for public security in the municipality of Zapopan and the state of Jalisco, Mexico. On Friday, January 9, 2026, the new tactical training facilities of the Zapopan General Public Security Commission were officially opened.

The event was attended by the Governor of Jalisco, Pablo Lemus Navarro, and the Mayor of Zapopan, Juan José Frangie, who formally received the facility. This milestone caps months of work in which RGM Advanced was responsible for the entire project: from the initial analysis, architecture, equipment and technology setup to the final staff training at handover.

Innovation in Live Fire: Spire Ranges Technology

For the live-fire area, we implemented cutting-edge infrastructure designed to maximize the safety and efficiency of police training. As authorized suppliers of Spire Ranges, we installed a system of modern automated lanes that allow dynamic, precise practice.

The equipment includes:

  • Automated targets and carriers: Distances and movements can be programmed to simulate real threat situations.
  • High-performance bullet trap: Designed for safe projectile containment and environmental protection, making debris collection easier.
  • Armored shooting booths: Enclosed spaces that provide side protection for each officer during practice.
  • Acoustic and thermal insulation: Specialized walls (Hebel) and smoke-control systems to protect the occupational health of instructors and users.

Next-Generation Virtual Training: Ti Training

Complementing physical practice, we delivered an immersive virtual shooting simulator that puts Zapopan at the technological forefront. We are authorized suppliers of Ti Training, the world leader in law enforcement simulation.

This space includes:

  • High-definition screens: Projection of interactive scenarios that react in real time to the officer's decisions.
  • Specialized weapons with recoil: Exact replicas of service weapons that provide a realistic tactile experience without live ammunition.
  • Decision-making scenarios: Advanced software for training the reasonable use of force and conflict de-escalation in controlled environments.

An End-to-End RGM Advanced Project

Building this police complex demonstrates our ability to manage turnkey projects. The RGM Advanced team not only supplied the technology, but also led the civil works and architecture needed to house these systems, ensuring that every component, from voice and data cabling to video surveillance, worked in perfect sync.

Our commitment also included a specialized training program for the Commission's instructors, ensuring the agency can operate and maintain this equipment at full capacity from day one.

At RGM Advanced we want to extend special thanks to the local and national media that covered the opening of the new Live-Fire and Virtual Shooting Range of the Zapopan Commission on January 9.
